12 Days Out...At a Loss....

So far I have posted nothing but great things, because I have felt wonderful! I have been working and walking every day with no problems whatsoever. Today, however, I am very sore and having the same bladder pain I had just after surgery. I am drinking lots of water and have added lemon (heard that was good for you) and I have to pee all the time!! Any suggestions??

Re: 12 Days Out...At a Loss....

Sounds like you need to slow down . I'm sure you're peeing all the time because of the amount of water your drinking. Has your pain gotten worse? Fever? Those are signs of infection. If not, your body is just telling you it's time to rest. You just had surgery and as hard as it is even when you're feeling good you're insides need it to heal. Hugs and I hope that you get back to feeling good

Rest and cranberry juice are my suggestions to add to the above post. Also, if the pain or sensation increases or continues, I would suggest having your doc doc urine exam. Bladder infections can be very common due to the catheter during your surgery. I am on my last dose of Cipro today for a combo bladder/kidney infection.

Best wishes and happy healing!
