slight discharge after making love

been feeling good and had a wonderful day with my husband. later in the day i had a slight brownish discharge with a light odor. should I be concerned? no pain or anything and have made love before this too and no problems. any advice would be great, thanks ladies

Do you still have your cervix? If you do, it could be a "mini period." If you do not have your cervix, sometimes dry vaginal tissues can cause some spotting. If the odor seems out of the ordinary for you, perhaps it would be a good idea to get checked for an infection. Hope you find an answer soon. Take care!

Was only released for sex yesterday but doc told me if there was spotting not to be to concerned as long as I did not fill a pad in a hour or pass a blood clot the size of my fist.

CMTSP, yes I have just the tip of the cervix because my bladder is attached to it. I've had nothing since and feel fine. thanks for the information, it makes total sense. I'll let the dr. know at my check up too.
