Ask your doctor is u can take Ducolax Suppositories? They work fast in 15 minutes to an hour. Good luck.

I took dulcolax and gasx for the first week, but I also ate lots of fruit and not much else. Particularly watermelon. When we ran out of watermelon last week, I became constipated again for 2 days. Hubby bought more melon for me and things are much better. Its worth a try.

I had that problem before with gallbladder surgery so I knew to take stool softener right after surgery. However I think I stopped too soon. I had not had any pain meds in several days, increased water and walking so I stopped taking. 2 days later I was having hard time and felt pressure down there where my female organs were. Guess my muscles are still tender down there even after almost 4 weeks from having da Vinci. does anyone else have that discomfort when needing to or having a poo?

Put a teaspoon of extra virgin coconut oil in your coffee....you can add another if you tolerate it well.
