Vaginal Pressure

Hi Ladies,

I had my SAH on 8/3/05 and overall I feel great! I have a question and if anyone had a similar problem.

I did not have a vaginal hysterectomy! I have pressure in my vagina. Along the walls. It feels like had sex for a week straight. (Sorry) I feel sore down there. Sometimes the pain shoots up and around. But lately it seems to be in the vaginal wall (around and inside). A dull ache. Is this normal? I feel dumb calling the doctors office. So I need help!

I would call the dr .[they are used to hearing all kinds of stories] you might have some kind of infection. Better to be safe!

Don't feel bad about calling dr. You symptoms sound like they could be from an infection. You need to know for sure. Hope you get some relief soon. I don't have any pain, but feel swollen in my vagina and it's uncomfortable to walk very much. My dr. said everything is fine, just has to finish healing...take care

I had the same feeling. Now it's only there when I do to much. Call your Dr. to be sure though.

hey girl this week i am going through the same thing.
my md said i have kidney infection ..gave me meds.,i called my gyno this morning about the pressure. i have my 4 week check up on monday,he said i could wait till monday to see him, "but if i develop a fever he said get in asap"...suggest you call dr. for your own piece of mind too. good luck!

Hi all, I did not call the doc yet. I had to sub today at school. I think I know how to explain the pain better. It feels like I just delivered a baby. That ache in your vagina. I'm going to contact the doc now.

Doctors office is closed. Should I wait until mon. or leave a message for the on call doctor? I don't feel like this is an emergency! I'm soo confused.

I would say if it is really worring you and is going to cause interruptions for your weekend I would leave a message. If this is only a minor concern to you and you can deal with the not knowing till monday then do so. If it is important to you and is really worrying you then I would consider that emergant. GL

Hi, can you lie down and put your feet up for a while, that might alievate the pressure. I have pressure when I overdo. But getting my feet up seems to help...good luck.
