3 weeks today!!

May 24th I had a vaginal hysterectomy which funny enough was my son's 23rd Birthday..... so 23 years ago I had a vaginal delivery and on that day 23 years later I have the oven removed!!! He was still good and was in the waiting room on his Birthday.

Today I worked 6 hours which I was only at a computer desk all day but that was way too Long!! very uncomfortable so I went home and laid down seem to be better now I forget and feel pretty good, I work in a acccounting office so it is not strenous but seems like something with the gravity and sitting or decide to get up and move and pretty sore. Made the mistake of holding in a sneeze saturday night ....won't do that again.

So how long before I can sit all day with out feeling that pulling in my back and pelvic area??

Dr. said can work if they are flexible and I only live a mile away so I can leave when I have had enough. Guess I just have to listen to my body. Miss being out in the flower beds and working on yard.....guess it is only because I can't !!

The times that you feel great so you pick up the laundry to put in the washer that is down in the basement...without that outer incision you really do forget. I had my gallbladder surgery in 1989 with the huge outer cut sideways across my stomach so then I knew it hurt...had the friendly pillow to press against my tummy. But with the cut on the inside you sometimes forget!!!

I know what you mean about the 23 year blast from the past. My youngest is 23 and came home from Boston for my first week home to help out. It was real weird that 23 years earlier we were bringing him home from the hospital and this time he was taking me to the doctor to get my staples out.
