My dr. told me to be sure and use a heating pad on my stomach after surgery. I use it every night. It helps the small incisions and generally seems to calm and relax me. Another thing she told me about was drinking warm apple juice for all the bloating and gas after the surgery. It helped too. I ate alot of applesauce and cold canned peaches the first two days home because my throat hurt so much. It was soothing. I also bought some cheap underwear that was 2 sizes too big! It seems to be working with nightgowns and baggy capri sweat pants. Just wanted to offer some suggestions that helped me and might help someone else too.
