TVH Swell Belly after transvaginal

HELP! I had a transvaginal done on March 12th and my belly is HUGE! I wake up with it just a tad swollen but by the end of the day I look and feel about 6 months pregnant. It is really making me very depressed. I can't stand to look at myself at this point. None of my jeans fit. I'm wearing sweat clothes all the time and even they feel tight by the end of the day. I'm small...4'11' and weigh 98 pounds, so you can imagine how insane this swell belly looks on me. And it's not just the look, I feel so stuffed. Even my butt looks bigger! Someone please give me a light at the end of this tunnel. When does it go away and what can I do to get it off me Thanks Ladies. You have no idea how much I rely on this site to keep me sane

Take a deep breath and calm down. Swelly belly is normal and it will gradually go away over time. I am petite also and I have been through swelly belly in each of my six surgeries. Rest, take short walks when you can, and take anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen. Avoid bending, stretching and lifting. Make sure your guts keep moving. You had major surgery and you are getting better every day!

Definitely follow ActIII's advice! Be sure to get lots of rest. I have found ice packs help, too!
