LAVH Sudden Pain in Right side of Groin-5 Days Post lap assisted vaginal hysterectomy

I'm 5 days post LAVH with having my uterus, tubes and cervix removed. I've been feeling better the last two days but suddenly developed pain in my right groin area. I have been taking it easy and following doctors orders to walk a little bit each day. It feels like nerve pain but it's getting worse by the minute. Could this be sciatica?

It could be nerve pain, perhaps from how you were positioned during surgery. You will notice that you get quite a few odd pains over the next few weeks. If the pain gets bad, or you begin bleed a lot, or running a fever, head to the ER. Otherwise, just give your doc a call when he/she is back in their office and let them know about it.

I am 10 days post op today and last night I pulled something while rolling over in my sleep. It woke me up in quite a bit of pain on the lower left side belly and today it is sore in that area and now it hurts when I pee. I haven't had these pains before today. I have had some uncomfortable pain from doing a bit too much but this is different. This is a deep in pain. Ugh.. I didn't even doing anything I wasn't supposed to do and now I get this. Hopefully it just eases off in the next few days in which I will be barely doing anything but walking around slowly.
