Laparoscopy & endo question

Endo can be tricky for sure. My understanding of it is that, yes it can hide, and yes it can be microscopic, making it difficult to find all of it. Plus, it comes back.

Lap and Endo

Not all doctors, regardless of using laparoscopy, are skilled in the removal on endometriosis.

I am one year from surgery for removal of deep infiltrating pelvic endometriosis and a bowel resection of intestinal endometriosis.

You may want to see if you can find an endometriosis specialist. Endo specialist can better describe treatment of endometriosis, usually without the use of Lupron, using excision.

Best thing I ever did. I went to Portland, Maine.

Laparoscopy & endo question

I live outside of Portland and never knew about this place.

I have minor endo and have had some ongoing pain on the left side and my endo is on the right. I was told the pain can be felt on the opposite side.

So far only one ovarian cyst so I am not sure which problem causes the pain.

I may have to check it out if this continues.
Thanks

Laparoscopy & endo question

Endo can actually be missed with any surgery type. It can have various appreances, hide in various places, and be microscopic. You can learn more about endo by reading through the Hyster Sisters' Endo/Adeno Resources.
