yellow eyes anyone?

I came home on 11th after TVH on 9th., with Di-gesic for pain. On 12th I noticed a couple of burst blood vessels, in each eye, and the lower half of my whites were yellow. We went back to the hospital where they changed my meds. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi niska I'm glad you went back to the hospital. It's very uncommon, but unfortunately there are many medications which may cause jaundice, which is due to high levels of bilirubin in the blood. It's a sign that the medication was too hard on your liver. Did your DR mention having liver function tests done later as a follow-up?

I was reading up on the vivelle dot and noticed that yellowing eyes can be a side-effect of that. (I'm experiencing skin irritation from it which is why I was reading up.) Are you taking any form of HRT?

The doctor thinks it's just a weird reaction to anaesthetic. I have had a blood test and it's almost gone now.
