Allergy to sutures

I have had an allergic reaction to sutures all four times I have had them, trying a different type each time. My dr thinks that my body just reacts to anything foreign. The last time after six weeks I was not healed and had to take steroid injections, even though the the incision should have healed after two weeks. Now I am concerned because all of the princesses talk about the hundreds of internal stitches that are needed. Has anyone had the internal staples? How did they work? Thank you for listening.

Allergy to sutures

I read about the internal staples for a total laproscopic hysterectomy. They are tiny and used instead of sutures in a tool that fits through the tiny incisions, but I don't know if they are used in the other procedures. I was hoping that someone might have had them.

I have heard of internal staples being used to "tie" off arteries, veins and tubes. I know they used them in someone I know before, but I can't remember who. I don't know if they could be used for more extensive use, but it is worth asking your dr. If your body reacts to anything foreign, would it react to the staples?? You have a good list of things to ask your doc about. Best wishes.
