Re: Help scared

If you're concerned I would. That's what they're there for.

Re: Help scared

Mine told me red blood enough to soak a pad in less than an hour. Do you have discharge instructions detailing what to do?

Re: Help scared

My discharge was similar to yours. Had it pretty much since the 13th then bright red gush this past Monday. I saw the doc and had an ultrasound. They could not find source of bleed which she said was good. It seems crazy to bleed without a uterus but she said nothing is wrong. The bright red lasted about 3 days getting lighter each day then went to brownish and now its bright red again. The doc doesn't seem concerned. They told me the pad an hour thing too.

Hope you are doing better!!

Re: Help scared

Like everyone, I say call your doctor. I had bleeding everyday since my surgery on the 12th, and on Friday it got bright red, and it was heavy. I ended up having emergency surgery that night for a vaginal cuff repair because it had torn. So please call your doctor. It could be nothing, or it could be something. Good luck! Will say a prayer for you :-)

Re: Help scared

Yes, do call your doc! You could have a hematoma or a popped stitch or nothing to worry about. Try to be calm and know that it will all be okay. If you fill a pad in an hour or just beginning feeling really scared and wanting to be seen by a doc, go to the ER. Prayers!
