Question: TLH w/RSO
I've "been there, done that" and NO regrets. I think I went into surgical menopause at 4:00 PM (as soon as my ovaries were removed) on the day of my surgery (just kidding). Seriously, I knew it would be immediate, but I did not experience any symptoms, and they were "warm moments" for 2 weeks. I still continue with the warm moments, usually at 3:00 AM. As far as recovery, rest as much as you can, drink PLENTY of water, and walk as much as you can (with all that water, that shouldn't be difficult). Remember to listen to your body, you only have one chance to heal. I still have my cervix, so I don't really know if the recovery would be that much different. I am sure some other sisters will be along to help with that. Good Luck
