Vaginal Cramping

Do any of you have vaginal cramping? It seems like the pain is concentrated at the top (probably by the cuff)
It is intermittent but quite strong. No discharge and no fever..

Today is the three-month anniversary of my total hysterectomy and I still have cramping from time to time. I swear it's worse when my daughter is on her period! I also feel some slight pulling on my left side. I don't know why this happens to us unless our bodies have just gone through too many years of menstrual conditioning.

YES! I have period-like cramps most of the time. I'm glad to know it's not just my body playing tricks on me! No fever here but I either have the chills or having a major heat flash!

I am 6 months post op and still there are days that I swear I still have ovaries but I don't. (At least thats what the doc says). My sides hurt just like they did when I was ovulating. I have a girlfriend who had Hyst and her doc says that it is phatom pains. OK...whatever! Anyone else have this kind of pain?

Phantom pains... i like that... guess I'll have to pay the doctor with phantom money.
Maybe my vagina misses my cervix...

I think my vagina misses mine too, and my uterus. I have been "cramping" all day, and i guess is must be digestive, but it sure feels like i am getting my period, which would of course be a miracle.

I"m glad I'm not the only one with the cramping. And I love the term phantom pains and especially the phantom money to pay the Dr with. It's so good we can laugh here.

I hated the twinges and deep itches at the cuff. Very aggravating. But it has gotten better!

Phantom money Let me know how that works out for you, I really need a shopping trip!

You are 6 weeks ahead of me... do you remeber when the twinges and pain got better? Also , when can I expect the internal stitches to come out of that area? Don't want to scare myself silly... Have you been cleared for sex yet? My doc said now 10 weeks from surgery.. That coupled with the time for my D&C (Dec 13) and I don't think my DH will remember who I am.

I am glad someone asked this.
I thought I was going crazy. Having cramping too.
