Re: WK5: Incisions were doing fine, now 3 red and SO ITCHY

I had a TVH, but had a lap in Nov and I know that my incisions then were red and itchy a few weeks out. My dr said it was a sign of healing, as long as they weren't hot or hard, nor was anything draining from them. Said it had to do with the nerve endings and restored blood flow. I hope someone else comes along that had the same type of surgery and might be better help. Just wanted to pass on what I was told,so you aren't wondering for long. If youare really worried or not sure, calling the dr wouldn't be a bad idea. Good luck and I hope the itching stops soon.

Thanks, Painfree! I guess I could have busy nerve endings. Cheers!
