Re: ouchy,ouch!

Definitely give your doctor a call. You may have a bit of granulation tissue that needs to be treated. It could also be an infection like bacterial vaginosis, or if you are not using vaginal estrogen, it may be that you are suffering from dryness or atrophy. If it were me, I would refrain from sex until I spoke to the doctor. Hopefully it is something that is easily treated.

Re: ouchy,ouch!

Please let us know what the dr says. I am having the same exact problem. I am planning on calling my dr again tomorrow. I called at week six the nurse said it was normal healing process, but now at week 8 I believe that something is wrong. I haven't tried sex yet but the burning comes and goes the past two days have been worse.

Re: ouchy,ouch!

I had the same thing burning from inside at 5 weeks post op but I also had spotting that changed from pink to red. It ended up being granulation tissue that the doctor treated with silver nitrate. Hopefully this is all it is.

ouchy,ouch!

Hi ladies, went to the Dr yesterday and yes I have a infection! The antibiotics she gave me is doxycycline hyclate, I've never heard of it, but I'm willing to try it if it helps! She told me to call if I didn't start feeling better by tomorrow.Thought I'd let everyone know. Hopefully I'll start feeling better soon.Wish me luck! Xo

I also went to the dr yesterday, I've been having the same issues as you. He burnt off some scar tissue and put me on antibiotics and anti fungal. Hoping we both start feeling better soon...
I have been on the doxycycline before but I get a reaction of thrush in my mouth when I take it. Hope it helps you.
