6 Days Post Op

Smiles,

I am six days out post op. I spent Four long days in the Hospital and am very glad to be home.

I am very relieved that it is over and am feeling well, other than a bout with impaction. Never thought I'd beable to drink Prune juice but consumed a gallon in one night. <s>

I am having very little pain and trying to figure out this site, I have found it very informative and helpfull.

They did bladder surgery during my TAH but I cannot remember all of the abbreviations as of yet.

Hi Katilynn,
I'm happy you are home and having little pain. I used stool softeners for the first month or so and they really helped me. You are one brave woman doing a gallon of prune juice! I'm so glad it worked for you.

I hope you continue to do well with your recovery.
Best wishes & s,
Beth

I am glad you are feeling so good. But I want to caution you do not do too much to soon.

I am 11 days out and was doing good until I accidently picked up my 4 year old and now I am in pain and back on bed rest for the next 3-4 days. I just hope this will put me back where I was.

Take it easy and enjoy you recovery.

Thank you, Dumby and Beth!

I am taking it easy Dumby my mother is watching over me in hawk mode.. She gave both my girls the lecture that mommy is a guest and as such you will treat her that way.. They have been great!

Do you have someone to help with your children? I can remember how easy it was to pick mine up without thought.

Beth me and prune juice are now good friends! At the time I was willing to do anything, other than go back to the castle which is two hours away from my home.

Lots of gentle hugss
