One week to go

Thought I had better say something. I have been so busy reading all the posts and am so glad not to be alone.
Have been having some anxiety about pending surgery. I have a hiatal hernia which is causing me no ends of problems partially due to the large cyst on my ovary. Lots and lots of gas and distention. SO I am worried about post op distention making the hernia worse. I feel like a barrel most of these days and post op I will be a barrel with staples. lol

Bless your heart, I hate it when I have lots of gas like that. Sometimes I feel like an inflated balloon

If you haven't discussed your hiatal hernia with your dr, I would do so. Maybe he/she will have some ideas on how to make you more comfortable now and during your recovery.
