Feeling great 5 days after LSH

Hi Ladies!

I'm feeling great five days post op! Minimal pain, pretty good energy, NO BLEEDING WHATSOEVER!

I feel calm and peaceful since surgery. Unfortunately, I got a head ache at 1 in the morning before surgery and I suffered something awful. When I got into holding I was begging to be put to death.

I woke up with the head ache, too, but luckily had some Excedrine in my purse and took a tab when I could and this combined with the other meds rid the head ache. That was a bummer,.

Otherwise, I'm doing great. Taking one or two pain pills a day, sleeping on my sides now, aaaaahhhhhh bliss.

Emotionally, I am well. I feel so at peace with this decision. When I finally have my first bm, I will be completely at peace.

I am so glad to hear you are doing well. It gives me hope. I am nervous as can be and still in the dark as to what they will be doing. My pre-op is Monday afternoon with surgery Tues morning at 7:30am. Not a lot of time to work with. I am borderline on if they can do vaginal or ab. Have to see what size everything is on Monday and then they will tell me.

Anyway, I hope you continue to feel better with each day. Relax, enjoy and take care of yourself.

It is comforting to know how well you are doing. My surgery was postponed. I have to see an oncologist on Friday, then reschedule the surgery.

Hope everyone waiting for surgery is holding up!
