Vagifem~The Dark Side?
So at first I thought it was a wonder drug now....?
I've had what feels like a non-stop issue for a couple of months now; that feeling that you're ABOUT to get a yeast infection but not quite. The itching, burning and general discomfort.
Doc has advised I go off all vagi stuff for a week or two and then maybe try Prem instead.
You gals had this issue with Vagifem? I see it's listed on the side effects but of course I only read it now that I'm having trouble lol.

Re: Vagifem~The Dark Side?
Has your doctor ever done a swab to see if you are actually getting a yeast infection or just something that feels like the beginning of one? My experience is that vaginal dryness feels like the beginning of a yeast infection, and using more, not less, vaginal estrogen usually takes care of it.
In fact, we tend to be more prone to yeast infections when we're not getting adequate vaginal estrogen, not in response to using it.
I have never had any negative side effects from Vagifem whatsoever.

-Linda

Re: Vagifem~The Dark Side?
It's official...the estrogen levels were the best they've been in years, and everything else was great...just ongoing yeast. She's switched me to Prem cream to see if it's more compatible with my lady. Wish me luck!
