I'm sure it's perfectly normal, but, just wondered, why now?
Other than a tiny tiny bit of pink, the first night and the nurse saying it was more from the removal of the catheter than vaginal, I have not bled at all, until today. It's not heavy and it's light pink and just a little on the pad and when I wipe.
I have had a little cramping today, just minor and other than riding in the car for about 1- 1 1/2 hours total, I have done nothing, but, make my bed and wash about 6 dishes in the sink. That's it. We live down a horrible road of potholes, but, I wear a binder and hug my pillow to cushion that.

Me too. My dr said it's not unusual at around this point because our internal stitches are dissolving. He said it shouldn't be heavy though. Take it easy, make sure you're not overdoing it

Re: I've not had any spotting until now, almost 3 weeks post op, normal?

I just came on to post about exactly the same thing so I was glad to see your post but not glad if you are worried like me! I hope someone will have some insight for us.

I had the same as you in the hospital and nothing since then. I had my post-surgical checkup which did not involve an internal exam (that's 2 weeks from now) but my doctor looked at the outside incision and said it was healing beautifully. So I asked about exercise and activity and she told me that I could do very simple things around the house that didn't involve lifting heavy things and that "my body would tell me " if I did too much because the next day I'd hurt.

What I didn't ask about what spotting because I'd not spotted much at all and she seemed to think that was over with.

So I have done little things like go through a drawer or cabinet and throw stuff out. Spring cleaning type things, like one cabinet a day. The past two days because I'm so tight all over (I got a full body massage and she said I was all knots) I did extremely simple yoga--just a Rodney Yee a.m. yoga thing for 27 min. and anything that felt like it MIGHT be too much I just didn't do or did an arm stretch in place.

There was a seated abdominal twist that I did that I remember thinking I was surprised I could do but it didn't hurt then or the next day...but 8 hours after the second time I now have spotting. Not to be TMI but it's med brownish, not bright or anything. Kind of like when I'd be going into a period in the past and have a false start. Well no cramps or anything otherwise, and I still have my cervix and one ovary but she said she got all the endo. tissue out of there and I shouldn't have a period.. I checked and today would be the 32nd day if I was going into a cycle...

So does this mean I strained something? This is a really dumb question but if I still have a cervix does that mean there are or are not sutures inside the vagina? I have 2 cervixes actually and she said she cut the length of them back a bit as the length was longer than normal.

I am thinking this must be normal too but just need to know if this means I should stop doing what I'm doing as far as movement. I was really feeling almost normal at 3 1/2 weeks but maybe I'm not.

My doctor checked me internally, last Thursday and everything was intact and healing. She was making sure because of some other things going on.
that makes sense though. When things heal, they either itch like crazy or you can feel pulling/tearing from the new tissue. Nothing heavy, so, not too worried. Just wondered about it after this long, lol.

I just did a google search on this and came up with an older hystersisters thread and that one had a bunch of people saying that the 3 week or so mark is normal for some spotting and that for quite some time this can occur.

I'm wondering about when doing a lot of walking as well. I'm guessing that when I am lightly spotting after going shopping and doing a lot of walking, that it's from the stitches or whatever stretching? I'm worn out and so sore after too.
