pain after staple removal

I just had my staples removed yesterday, 8 days after a TAH. I felt fine yesterday, but woke up with a very sore belly today. Any advice?

I always found that taking some sort of anti inflam's really helped. I relied on motrin for quite some time. It really helped. You might call your and see if that's an option. Also, you might also ask if some sort of cold compress is allowed. That might feel nice.

Mine did that i had a yest infection there but i will say ibprofin is a godsend on the scar pain Also a bit od saline solition is also very reliving for itching and pain its usally cold if u store it in a cool place i keep mine in my medical box which is a military ammo box . just some suggestions

I am two weeks post op, mine were removed on day four in the hospital. However, it still hurts bad on the incision.
