Post-op Massage?

I am taking daily walks, and pacing the house which gets the blood moving but I still have aches and pains which I associate with being so inactive, like lingering gas pains in the upper abdominal area, chest and back, and aching hips.

If have a gift-certificate for a masseuse that makes house calls, but would that be a good idea? Are there any potential complications that I should know about? Do you think this would actually help?

I would say, do not let anybody touch you without you DR's consent. It sounds like a geat idea, I want to look into that myself.

I would wait my daughter gave me a day at the spa for Christmas and after the massage they told me to drink lots of fluids because a massage stirs up all the duhhh can't think of the word but it might make you hurt more I would ask dr. FIRST.
