red / itchy eyes

Its been a week on drops. Still no progress. primary Dr. said early pink eye. But I think not. I never had goop in eyes, strickly red and itchy. Now is this related to female issues ??? Anyone else had these symptoms ? Very tired of constant problems.

I have issues with red itchy eyes off and on. I don't think it's related to female issues as I am post hysterectomy. The thing that helped me the most was something my accupuncturist gave me, it was some sort of pellet that I boiled in water, than strained. I put it in the fridge. Once cooled, I soaked a cotton pad in it and put on my eyes. Itchiness was gone!

For OTC stuff, I have found Alaway drops to be the best. It's a bit pricey, but it has worked the best to take away the itchies.
