Pain on right side..no ovary or appendix left

For the last month or so I have had this nasty pain on my lower right side when I stand up too quickly, my ovary is gone and appendix was taken out along time ago.
If I get up from a chair and try to take a step, I get this nasty pulling pain and I kinda drag my leg along for a bit till it stops.
When I cough I have to hold that side in.
Any ideas? Not sure if I should see the gyn or GP.

Thanks

Pain on right side..no ovary or appendix left

Hi ((((Inascent))))) I'm so sorry you're having a hard time

The pain you describe could be caused by a number of things, including your bowels or bladder as well as the possibility that you could be dealing with adhesions. Hopefully it is something that can be easily delt with.

In my case, I have pains in my right, lower abdominals and the pain in cyclical. Since I kept my ovaries and the pain is exactly where my right ovary is, I was convinced that it was my ovary giving me grief: after all, the pain is cyclical!!!

It turns out that, in my case, the pain is caused by bowel spasms. It appears to be associated with my IBS and I've since found out that PMS is one of the many triggers for an IBS flare us

If you think that your pain is linked to your hyst, your gyn may be your best choice. If there is a possibility that the pain is muscular or skeletal, then a GP may be a better choice.

Since the pain started a month ago and has been going on ever since, I do think that the time as come for you to consult Please, do keep us posted.

Pain on right side..no ovary or appendix left

I am just at the end of week four, and was wondering about the right side pain. I two had myovaries removed. But I have experienced the same type of pain. Mine kind of burns as well. Feels really weird..

Was going to ask the Doctor in two weeks, unless it gets worse.
