Dryness

I'm just over 4 months post-op, and all was going well until the past few weeks. After the time of my normal cycle, I noticed that I was experiencing more personal dryness than usual. I've noticed it a couple times with hubby and have just used additional lubricant. But the past couple days, I've also been feeling itchy at times, especially in the morning. Have any of you experienced this? If so, is there anything that is available OTC that you can recommend to help?

I had the same symptoms at about the same time after surgery as you and started using K-Y Liquibeads, which did little to help me. However, I have read that some people have good results with them. My personal dryness led a bladder infection. The doctor put me on Estrace vaginal cream. I have been using it about 3 weeks and it seems to be helping. But remember that everyone is different. What works for me may not work for you. Check with your doctor. Best of luck to you.

I have been using KY-LiquiBeads for about 4 weeks now and so far they are doing the job.
