did your SO go with to your surgery consult?

Yikes! A Day or Two???
He DEFINITELY needs to get informed! Why can they not even ATTEMPT to understand sometimes! I'll bet his mother just "sailed through menopause" too! sheesh
If a man needs a few days to RECOVER from a VASECTOMY --- how can he possible equate the 2 things????

I took my DH along, He wanted to be involved and to help me remember anything I might have forgotten.. He also went with me to my previous Dr. appt. And then we made up our minds on which Doctor seemed the best... It was nice to have some one to help, and
do the driving... ( 100 miles one way to Doctors.. )

I will be having two surgeries at the same time also. I will be having a TAH/BSO and also a double hernia repair from my previous abdominal surgery. My DH is very supportive and will be with me 100%. This is my first time posting and I find all of you very helpful. I am a tad bit nervous but being through another abdominal surgery I know kinda what to expect. The last time I had an epidural and was not awake during the surgery and literally did not have any pain. My last surgery was a fistula removal between my colon and my bladder and I stayed in the castle that time for 7 nights. UGH! I look forward to chatting with you all during my preop time (Oct 6th surgery) and afterwards.
