Feeling good after my hys

I have been reading lots of my hyster sisters post hop history and I kind of feel guilty to say that I feel low or almost no pain. I had a spinal anestasia and put to sleep after. I had my uterus, ovaries, falopien tubes and bladder repairs. All this done vaginally on nov.3, 2006. Now back home on my second day. I am emotionnal and teary for little things but very lucky to have my devoted dear DH taking care of me. I have a little or no pain im my abdomen and littles head ache here and there. Praying for you all my hystersisters who are in more pain then me. Love and Peace!

Feeling good after my hys

Joiedevivre - I, too, felt GREAT after my hyster! I had some pain, but most of the time I was just so excited that it wasn't as bad as I had feared! It didn't last, though.
Week 1 = I felt invincible! I felt really great! I was astounded at how well I was healing!
Week 2 = I felt a little more "sore" than I remembered, and more "tired". Started to get a little emotional.
Week 3 = I became emotional, but not as sore. Became depressed and weepy all of the time!
Week 4 = Physically felt pretty good. Still really weepy and depressed.
Beginning of week 5 = VERY little pain - only once in a while if I have overdone something. Getting out of the depression - feel better emotionally.

So, enjoy feeling great! I hope that you continue to feel great throughout your recovery!
