Week before hysterectomy...feel a cold coming on, what should I do!

This time next week it will all be over but I've had a headache for the last few days and am now dizzy with an earache. I don't dare take anything but am scared they will postpone it if I get sick now. Should I run down to the Doc in a Box just to see what's going on? It could just be all the stress catching up with me.

The earache is concerning. Better to get on antibiotics now if you need them. I would pop in to be seen asap.

I'd go get seen. Also, check and see if you can take vitamin C. I was able to take it and I took it up until the day before surgery.

Talk to your surgeon and let him or her know what is going on. Sometimes they can give you something for it. Also, do not take any OTC meds or vitamins with out his or her okay.
