Tired

OK, I understand the pains and even the constipation (somewhat) - but will someone explain to me why I am exhausted and nauseated most of the month in between cycles? How can I combat this until April? I can't go in for surgery now as my mother-in-law is having by-pass surgery and DH will need to help her out.

Burnsy,

I don't mean to sound like a vampire but, have you had your blood checked out? You may be anemic. I would definately check into it. Stress can also cause you to be tired. good luck and check with your dr.

No, I haven't - but I'll have them check it on Tuesday. Does anemia cause nausea too?

Burnsy,
I was also tired and couldn't get everything done around the house that I wanted to before surgery 1-29-04. I didn't know what the problem was because I was taking vitamins but I found out at the hospital that my blood was low and they put me on iron. They told me to take them at home for a few weeks and I would build back up. Don't know about the nausea, that could just be stress and tiredness.

Hang in there

I too suffer from nausea and tiredness.
Mine has been worse lately and I am pretty sure it is depression. I have my surgery in less than 2 weeks, a whole laundry list of things to "get done" and I am so tired (yet, can't sleep) I discussed this with my doc and given my history, that is the conclusion we have come to.

you sound like you have a lot going on MIL surgery plus your own health issues. be good to yourself and describe what you are feeeling at your next appt.

best wishes to you.

Thank you guys. I will mention this at my next appointment. I have a ultrasound on Tuesday, so maybe I'll know more then.

Take care.
