How much pain is right at 8 1/2 weeks post total vaginal hysterectomy?

Help, this is really starting to get me down now. I had a vaginal hysterectomy on 11th March, as had CIN3, so no pain just a lot of worry. Anyway since my operation i have been in pain, the usual pain to start with, then when i went for my 6 week check up, my doctor said everything was healing really well, but i now had a cyst on my ovary, this was just over 5cm in size but hopefully would disappear within in the next week or so and he would see me again in 8 weeks. Stupidly partly through shock and partly thinking it would go i didnt ask any questions, 3 weeks on i am wondering how i am going to last another 5 weeks until i see him again. I have pain all the time, either in my groin, or lower back, then last night and today my pelvic area, where my c-section scar is, inside is so so sore and feels really tight. Is this normal, i have just finished my first week back at work so could understand being a little sore, i dont know how uncomfortable this should be making me feel, but i am beginning to wish i had never had the surgery in the first place.

It doesn't sound normal to me. I've had a few cysts, when I was in my 20's, and I know how badly they can hurt. If you are really feeling that bad, please give your doc a call and let him know that things have not improved and that you are still in a lot a pain. I don't think you have a thing to gain by waiting. Keep us posted.
