Am I crazy?

Please do not worry too much about how you will handle your kids. You said your mom would be there to help for a couple weeks? You are already accustomed to lifting your child. You probably won't have a problem. Just remember, if it starts to pull or hurt and feel uncomfortable, stop doing it. He can probably climb in and out of the crib with supervision of course. Or put his mattress on the floor if you think he will be okay with that. I had a TAH/BSO and still managed to take care of my 4 kids... due to the fact of an unsupportive DH you can imagine what the D stands for in my case. We are now separated and I am only 6 weeks post op. Try not to worry too much!
