back pain
Hi everyone,
I am getting ready for my surgery. One of my biggest problems is the constant back pain. I am constantly taking OTC pain meds but nothing works. Any of you have the same problem? any suggestions? I am hoping after surgery it gets better but for now....oh boy
thanks...........anna

back pain
Hi Anna,
I'm awfully sorry that you are having such pain. Have you talked to your doctor about whether he/she can prescribe something that is stronger than an OTC med, since they aren't working?
I had lower back pain for a long time and finally realized that it was mostly from my prolapses. Once I recovered from my surgery, I have had very few back aches, and then they are only when I have lifted something too heavy, etc.
Since you didn't say why you are having surgery, I don't know if your experience will be similar to mine, but I hope that it will be.

back pain
Hi!
This SOMETIMES works for me - I also get lots of backpain from the adeno.
It varies sometimes from day to day but I've found that when I really can't take the pain/bloating anymore Pamprin or Midol works... extra strength, doesn't matter which formula - pre or menstrual. IF you can handle premarin type ingredients the pamprin for water gain/bloating works... I can't take that cuz premarin gives me migraines Women's tylenol occasionally works too.
A trip to my chiropractor helps too - stretches the muscles to help them ease up a bit.
