13th Not Lucky For Me

So my insurance approval did not come through for me today. I called 3 times to see if it happened to come through, but no luck. So, no surgery for me tomorrow. I'm so depressed right now. I'm sick of hearing that they're following the policies and procedures of the state. I'm in a ton of pain and I want my life back and I was so close!

I believe they have until May 17th to make a decision. The way my luck is going, they will determine it's not medically necessary. If they do approve it, I will probably have to wait a couple more weeks until they can schedule me because my surgeon already had me scheduled 2 weeks out. Don't know what else to do I'm at the end of my rope right now.

my date has been changed on me twice now too i have a new one set for june 7 but it will be my luck to have them change it not for the same reason as I am in canada.....but for me have to low of a iron count.....hope evey thing stay set in your plan for the for the next date and hope they do approve and deem it medically necessary......

Thank you. I appreciate all the support I get here. I've just felt so crappy all week, the pain is getting worse and I feel like I have a large cyst on my right ovary. It hurts a lot and it's going into my back and hip. I figured I could deal with it since I knew I was having surgery at the end of the week, but now what? Plus, my DH wasn't going to be there when it was scheduled for today, but when it got moved to tomorrow he made sure he was home. We can't afford for him not to work and now I feel guilty he's home for nothing, but he's a trucker and his load has already been taken. Just so mad right now.

ya i had to take the day off work myself today really heavy bleeding to the point that i was rushed to the hospital cus i pasted out and freaked the hubby right out.....hang in there if u ever need to talk just post

Thank you. It really does make me feel better to have the support of so many people, even if I can't get through to the insurance company! I will be calling them promptly at 8 tomorrow morning and if there's a miracle, maybe I can still get my surgery tomorrow!
