Trying to stay positive before hysterectomy

I have my surgery scheduled for this Thursday. I am trying to stay positive because my days of heavy bleeding will soon be over.
What I know is that when we read about Hysterectomy on the internet we usually focus on the negative sides and at the end we get stressed with things that will never happen.
I like this web site because I know I am not alone in this path.
Wishing all the best to everybody who has surgery this week just like me. I am sure everything will be just fine!

I'm in the same boat hun so hard to stay calm and relax I been trying to clean today to take my mind off of this surgery it's my first major surgery so it's even more hectic in my head but I'm trying ti stay positive and relax i am going to try your breathing method good luck hun see you on the recovery side

Also trying to be positive. I have endemetrial cancer. Going in Friday. Have ct scan tomorrow.nervous

I am very afraid. I know I shouldn't be since I know it will be worth it in the end, but I can't help it. I am right there with you ladies!

I can truly say that waiting was the worst part.
