No Date: Finally got my Pre Op appointment

I have Adenomyosis and been having heavy periods for a while now. Had an D&C last year in june due to heavy periods and clots. Very painful cramps without period and with. I visited with my doctor on Feb 5 and she scheduled an Mri but my insurance is giving trouble so have to reschedule it. I go for my Pre op appointment on March 11th. She said i might be a canidate for total Laparoscopy Hysterectomy.

Hello MrsTanya, I have adenomyosis as well, it's suppose to go away in menopause but apparently not all the time, it's rare to have it postmenopause, go me... But my Dr also told me that I started menopause young as well (46), perhaps that's why it's still lingering? who knows, I always seem to be the odd one. lol

My pre op appointment is on the 9th. Surgery on the 23rd.

I can't wait till this beast is out of me as well. It's been too long with pain. I also have endometriosis.
