Recent csection - hyst next month

Hi everyone. What a great web site. I have been through alot in the last 9 months. The hysterectomy is the culmination of it all. I had a c section delivery in July. My doctors thought they would be doing an immediate hysterectomy following delivery. I did three surgeries that day - c section, 2 cervical biopsies and tubal ligation ( I found out that I only have one tube and ovary - interesting). I have followed up with a cervical conization in Sept. December will be the hysterectomy. Since I had a c section so recently (which I sailed through, thankfully), will it take longer to recover from the hysterectomy? My stomach muscles haven't yet completely recouperated from the c section. The scar is finally not bothering me so much (it is vertical). Also, Any hints for continuing breastfeeding? During hospital stay and after? Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I can't answer any of your questions but I wanted to bump your post up so maybe someone else who may have similar experiences will see it, and be able to help you out.

You have been through a lot this year, that's for sure. I never had a c-section, but a lot of members do say it's a little harder to recover from a hyst than a c-section, and that's mainly due to the fact that with a hyst, organs are being removed, so there's a lot more cutting and stitching.
