Hip pain?

Anyone else have hip pain post-op? Mine started the day after i came home, doc thinks it may be from the injections during hospital stay, but seems to me it would have let up by now, but then again...i am a little impatient at this sort of thing

Hip pain?

Sometimes the pain can be from the positions that put your body in for surgery. I found that a heating pad helped.

hip pain

Hello, yes, I too have suffered from hip pain. Mostly on my right side. It really hurt the first 2 weeks. I am almost 3 weeks on March 9/05. I had my cerv. and uter. removed. Overies kept in there. It hurt more when I went on my side to rest or sleep. Hope you feel better, time I understand makes things better, ha,

Hip pain?

Hi there,
I am 5 weeks PO. I started about 1 1/2 weeks ago with a feeling that is hard to describe to others. My hips ache and I feel "congested" and "full" in my hips (both sides) and abdomen?
Make sense to anyone? I had been using a heating pad and even ice to see if that helps. I have also been trying to take just an OTC ibuprofen for inflammation. That does seem to help too.
Just never figured out why it started so late and what it was. I have had to even go back to using pain pills occasionally because the ache gets so bad in my hips. I had a TAH/BSO so not sure my body was really put in a funky position of any sort.

Good luck!

Stacey
