Just had the phone interview with the pre-op nurse.

Boy, I understand your stress, Joy. I was up till 2 am or later, and ended up crying myself to sleep as I said goodbye to my "girl parts." It was a very vivid "dream" where they told me to look at my family and know that their job was done. It comforted me somehow, and now I just have to get through the physical stuff.

I have been preparing stuff for the next few days, and DH and I will clean the house thoroughly before Friday. I tried scrubbing the shower down when I was in it this morning, and though it looks a lot better, it isn't good enough. LOL

Today I put small sample size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, & body wash in a small golden chiffon bag, and it's going to the castle with me. Starting to "pamper the princess," I am.
