need encouragement: pressure

I had a full hyterectomy laproscopically and only 7 days in and have pressure like i i have to pee has anyone else encountered this is this just soreness

Yes, call your doctor. It could be a Urinary tract infection or just your bladder healing. It is best if they do a culture. I went through two rounds of antibiotics before they did a culture. I came back negative. The pharmacist told me that the bladder sits on the uterus and no matter how gentle they are out still gets bruised and traumatized. It will be ok sis, just call ur doctor.

Yes that is normal. I did the same thing and it was very worrisome. It's gotten better every week. But it wouldn't hurt to have a urinalysis done. I did run in and let them do one and it was all clear. They said it was perfectly normal.

As a side note, I still can't drink carbonated drinks. It seems to make that feeling worse. I drink water and cran-grape juice

Yes I felt that a lot. I read that our bladders have to adjust to everything. I drank tons of water to flush everything and give it lots of opportunities

Yes, I agree lots of water. Everything has been moved and has to find its place. I know it's uncomfortable. It will get better day by day. Go slow.
