Wait... I'm Going to Pass a Stitch?? Cervix removed during hysterectomy
Um... is this something that's going to happen to me too? I just read a post about it. I had my cervix removed during my TAH. My next appt isn't until June 23rd and I'll definitely ask then.

Some people naturally pass stitches. I never saw any of mine. They say they are tiny and gray. But I never found one, and looked too!

I had internal stitches, but never saw anything. Some do, some don't.

I never saw any stitches. I had my 6 week check up on Friday and she said they were all dissolved.

I'm 4 weeks post op and passed one at 2 weeks. I haven't noticed any more.

I passed a few about an inch long. Nothing horrible or gross. You just see them on the toilet paper after you pee or at least that when I saw mine.

Trust me, those sutures start pinching on you and you will celebrate passing stitches!! No worries. It is painless and nothing gross to pass them.
