just got home and feel huge!!!!!!

Morning Kathy. Oh my! I just got a real good loook at myself in a full length mirror and got a real shock.I can see why your freaked out, so am I. I'm a week post SAH today but haven't had the nerve to take a good look until now. Reading everyoone else's experiences really helps. How in the heck am I gonna get in my work clothes in 6 weeks??????

Hi all...sounds familiar to me too..I am now 9 days post-op and feeling better. I found forcing myself to drink lots of water and move around relieves the gas and gets you "going!" I have also been drinking tea and orange juice which seems to really help! I stopped taking the stool softeners three nights ago and so far so good.. Haven't attempted the jeans yet but did get to Walmart for ONE HOUR ONLY last night with my dh, he was timing I am sure!! Walmart, in sweats, just to be clear!!!hehe.... I will admit that I needed to laydown for three hours after my adventure...reminding me not to push it. Hugs all...

Thanx you guys!!!Still huge today!!But I guess its worth it. Its just realllyy funny. I am normally very petite, but this gelly makes me look twice my size!!It is crazy. I was going to paint the bottom of my mirror with black paint, but decided to just avoid it. And never look at on the loo-- it's an optical illusion-- it's NOT that big--really. DH (the brains of this pair) says fluids weigh between 6-8 lbs a gallon... long explanation after that which went...zing... right over my head. Anyway... my version. Fluid is heavy. Don't worry, be happy. Evil parts are gone. All will be well.
