burning and pulling sensation

I learned today that the burning/stinging sensation could be damaged nerves healing. Still need to discuss it with dr.

I am just starting my third week post-op and I too have that burning feeling on my left side. I asked the doctor and was told that it is normal and that the burning is the muscle that they cut through and had to stitch back together. Says it can last several months. Mine hurts to even touch the skin in that area very sensitive. Other than that I am starting to feel human again.
