One week post hysterectomy: I think I overdid it
I did more today than usual but really barely nothing but I still feel like I overdid it. My lower back hurts and my stomach. All I did was l lightly sweep. Granted today is one week. Post op

No sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, lifting, pushing, pulling. In fact lifting a gallon of milk is too much. Rest! The floors will be there.

I am 4 wks. Post today. Please sit down and relax. I didn't because I felt good when I came home. Was cleaning. Sweeping. Cooking. And hung new curtains. Now I have been sidelined for 2 days with a heating pad because of pain and burning. I know its hard but I learned the hard way. Now I'm on strike!

Please remember that no matter what type of surgery, a hysterectomy is MAJOR surgery. The cleaning really can wait. Your need for rest really can't. If u can pamper the princess now - you will be back on your feet much much sooner. All the best. Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way.
