TAH bad pain in my ovaries post op (kept my ovaries)

Help! Im going to be 4 weeks post op. I have real bad pain in my ovaries area to the point that it makes me cry. Is this normal?

Hi, I am so sorry you are in pain, but no this is not normal, have you asked your Dr. about it? Were you hurting in your ovaries before surgery? if so, I was too and two years of hurting after my uterus was removed found out I had 6.5 cm cyst on left ovary so I had ovaries and cervix removed two years after my uterus was removed and now am pain free finally!!!!! Your Dr. may do a vaginal ultrasound of your ovaries to see what is going on. Try not to worry though, I am sure whatever it is it will be fine, So many women have just uterus taken out and then have to go back and have the rest taken out, its very common, some women do fine with just the uterus taken out and some don't, I had never had a cyst on my ovary before until after surgery.
