a word of encouragement

HEY!!!!!!

They put me in the game and I scored big time for the home team!!!!!! My period showed up to say goodbye and my coach says that while she was removing the offending members she found that if I had waited any longer that my uterus would have found its way out of my body via my cervix. So, if you think you need the procedure, get it done! I've bickered with Dr's, and insurance companies for 4yrs. and I was right! (wait til the reports come back, gonna send some really nice letters to some really stupid people who wouldnt listen to me!)

Anyway, I've been home for about 5 days (drugged effected calendar LOL!) Tomorrow I start my walking routine per my Dr. I feel better physically than I've felt in years!!!!! Keep your heads up ladies, there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!!

Thank you!

you go girls!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies

You are now officially punctured princesses!:

I too was in pain for years before I wised up and changed doctors. The doctor who kept blowing me off **** near cost me my life! And you wanna know the worst part? I talked to a lawyer and was told that the failed ablation I endured (which made everything 3 times as bad) is not grounds for a lawsuit. Unless I can prove that I would NOT have had to have a hyst if I had not had the ablation. My point is that I needed to have a hyst but my doctor didn't want to do it. He wanted to keep milking my insurance for the money:devil:

When my new doctor told me he was going to schedule a hyst I sat in his office and cried He asked if I was crying because I was losing "my parts" or because I was relieved. I told him I was crying because a doctor finally believed me. I know exactly where your coming from.

Glad to hear your both home and feeling ready to conquer the world. It's a wonderful feeling!!!

Sisters,
Why is it that Dr's think that we women don't know what is happening inside our bodies?!!! I was told I couldn't possibly be having pain because my cysts were too small!!!
I'm glad that you ladies will send some I-told-you-so letters. It'll be good for you and for your Dr's.
My DH has requested that I get copies of my records because he fears that something might get altered along the way, in case we have a case. I really don't want to go that route. But, hey, sending them an I-told-you-so letter complete with a copy of the pathology report would feel mighy good.
Anyway, we'll all get through this.

I've got one for you......

My Gp, when I told him about ALL the pain that I was/am in..asked me if I was having any problems going to the bathroom?!?!?! was I stopped up or was it really loose?!?! b/c the cysts were so small that is couldn't possibly be pelvic pain.

HELLO?!?! I have had my period since I was 11--by NOW do you think that I know the difference between pelvic pain and pain b/c I need to poop!! AARRGGHH!!!!!!!!

So, he tells me that he will get me into to see a GYN surgeon, and after about 20 min of talking, he says, "I'm in your corner"--"we could try a bunch of other things, but I think that the end result would be the same" and we scheduled my TAH/BSO for Nov 15th.
I too cried and told him how good it felt to have some one believe me!! and not want me to go thru this any longer than nec.
I think that I am in love !!! LOL!! He is just so wonderful!

WHAT is it with these drs?!!? How can THIS kind of pain be all in our heads?!? ```sigh.....and think of all the women that aren't strong enough to stand up to that and go thru h*ll for NOTHING~

Ok--going to get off my soap box now.

ROTFLOL

Love you all!! Love this place that is becoming like home to me.

IN HIM,

Dawn <><
