Lost weight?
Hey,
I am down 17lbs since surgery and my pain 4 weeks post op depends on what time of day but no worse then a 5-6 I take pain meds at night but mostly because I must try and roll over and when I do I wake up in pain. I have good days and bad but they are getting more and more infrequent like I can have 3 good days then one bad instead of 2 and then bad. If I lose 7 more lbs I will weigh what I did when I met my now husband

Lost weight?
Friday will be three weeks post op for me and I am comp. off all pain meds except over the counter and that is usually at night too. I have lost 5 pounds since surgery and I am hoping to lose a lot more, hard though cause I can not exercise. Everyone says to walk I would like to know how much walking is too much at three weeks post op - would love to go outside and walk or get on the treadmill (just to walk).

Lost weight?
I lost 10 lbs after surgery and (as hard as it may be) I have managed to eat smaller portions and keep it off - 5lbs was the fibroids and enlarged uterus - and what a relief to have that out of the body!
Tduke - at 3 weeks the last thing I wanted to do was go for a walk (which I love to do with DH & dog). But at 4 weeks I was able to do 30 minutes/day - mind you, had to be careful of the ice! Your body will tell you when it's ready!!

Lost weight?
I am rarely in pain, but am just start to really be up and active. I was in the house until 18 days post-op (forced marriage to Mr. Foley Catheter - we are now divorced). I just hope that as I do more, the pain remains minimal.
I am celebrating a 23 lb weight loss. I am working to keep it off by eating better.

Lost weight?
I want ice cream too.
Here's the thing (and I said this on other posts about weight) - I was a meat and potato kind of gal pre-op.
I think that fear of constipation has me eating all kinds of healthy stuff - like veggies and fruits. My family and friends are and because this just isn't me.
I admit, I feel better. I saw some cousins yesterday that I haven't seen since New Years Day and they were amazed. That made me feel really good that they noticed and complimented me. So, at least for the near future, I am going to be good.
