Countdown!

Well, it is 12:40 a.m. and I have to be at the castle by 6:30 a.m. Can't sleep! Wish me luck girls, Not nervous or anxious anymore, ready to get it over with! Just dreading the actual event and recuperation now...lol...Drank my 10 ounces of magnesium citrate(absolutely delicious) no sense in goin to bed yet I don't think. Besides, I'll get plennttyyy of sleep tomorrow right?
My youngest daughter received her diagnosis today of being Insulin Resistant. My oldest was diagnosed in Nov. of 2003. they are 17 and 22. I am now going to take my 17 year old son and have him tested also. Doc told us it goes hand in hand with POCS which we will ultrasound later after insulin under control. BUT I am already planning a visit to a specialist after my recovery. Just one more thing on my mind tonight, but it is keeping mind off surgerey a little.
Just wanted to share thoughts as I am now ready to mop the floor. Has anybody else done this? If family wakes up and finds me going strong they are going to flip out....lol.....

Countdown!

Hi Sarah!
Yep, I can relate. I had a totally clean house and I stayed up most of the night before surgery writing out my last will and testament and goodbye letters to all loved ones. I'm a real drama queen I think! The waiting is definitely the hardest part. When I got to the castle, I had to wait 4 1/2 hrs til they took me in for surgery cause my doc had an emergency surgery before me. To say the least I needed a bit of Verced to relax me. I almost cancelled. Good luck, take care, and we'll see ya' on the other side of the I.V. pole!
