my recovery and story something you may have never heard before

Good morning everyone,
I am 6 almost 7 weeks post op from my TAH...Im 31 and no children.
Going back I was never "regular" right from the begining. I started noticing around the age of 21-22 that I would get an odour (not to be graphic) that I could smell through my clothing. And I was and still am a very clean person in that department. So i voiced my concern to my family dr who in turn refered me to my GYN. I went in to see her and she did her check...well to my surprise she told me why I was having the issue. Here is what I had...are you al ready...I had what was called Uterus Deldyphis. It hink thats how you spell it. I had Double Uterus....Double Cervix, and double internal Vagina. No I was not supposed to be a twin...lol. Durring my development there is something called Muller Duct...everyone starts off as i was 2 uterus, 2 cervix, 2 vaginal canals....this Muller duct fuses together to create 1 uterus, 1 cervix, and once vaginal canal....Mine never fused. SO...long story short I would cycle and the odour was basically bad blood that i never lost. I had my first laproscopic procedure in 2001. removed the one vaginal cannal...there I was fixed..Not so much....I then began having problems...3-6 months without a menstrual cycle...sucks never knowing when or where it might decide to come and visit. Tests...more tests another surgery in 2005 BAM...Endo...so they removed that. Now we are in 2010 and i havent had a Period since 2009...Something isnt right. Back to my Gyn. Here is the thing...I still have 2 Uterus, and 2 cervix...I cant conceive naturally....I am a high miscarriage rate, and they find pre cancer cells on my one cervix....Endometriosis, and abdometriosis....Her suggestion a TAH...Now my ovaries they were good so I was lucky enough to be able to keep them.
My surgery was Aug 10th. was I scared...I think more so of the IV..lol...the surgery part...not so scary...the unknown...definitly scary. When I came to in recovery I remember the Nurse asking me my pain level and it was a 7-8 withing seconds that pain was gone. The nurses were great at keeping your pain down and you comfortable. 3 days in the hospital. I went home on friday morning.
If I can pass any advise on to anyone...TAKE IT EASY. Do not do anything you are not comfortable doing. walk small amounts and drink lots of water and fluids. I lost 30 lbs since my surgery, pain meds didnt allow my body to eat, just lost my appetite.
I did have a set back at about 2 weeks post op. I developed a Hematoma...very painful but apparently it is common. its just now starting to feel better, and my body is just absorbing it now...slowly....
So thats my story....HUGS TO YOU ALL
