Have a surgery date now questions

I finally got my surgery date. (June15) Now, I have tons of questions. I have an appointment in 2 weeks with the surgeon. Are there any questions I need to ask. I'm not sure how they are doing yet. Ah or TVH. I do know its uterus only. What should I ask? can anybody help?

Hi, I had my LSH 2 weeks ago they only took my uterus. Some of my ? were If you get in there and see ovaries are bad will they come out, I also get sick from anesthia(cant spell) so i told them that and they gave me extra meds for that. I started writting down questions every day when I would think of them. And then I asked when I went for that visit with him.I had a good experience every thing went well, and I feel great. Still get tired easy, so I take cat naps.Good luck, you will think of questions every day..

I had a LSH keeping one ovary on April 16. I would ask about how your pain will be managed afterwards. If there are certain meds you don't like to take or don't like to take. I don't like Percocet, so we came up with other meds. Also, what can you lift, etc.

As for the surgeon. I would ask how many hysterectomies has he performed, and how many of each type. Why type of problems has he encountered minor and major comlications and rates.
